Do I remember you talking about the England team not making it past the group stages and the team being home by now??????????

Could it be you were VERY wrong ????
 
I cannot answer for Tealeaf, but I must admit I felt the same way. I honestly didn't think England would make it to the ¼ finals. So anybody can be wrong. England deserve their place in tonights match...no arguement, and I hope they can go further, even go on to win the final.

I also thought that Germany (with their luck) would get through. But once again I proved to be a bad judge of their luck. They were simply not good enough. But that's football...As always I'll be shouting for England to-night................

I have not looked through my postings on this, but I do not recall stating that England "would not make it past the group stage". I do remember, however, stating England's past record in the European Championship, which is that they have only previously gone beyond the group stage on one occaision.

Well, for all of Beckham's contribution so far, it does'nt reallly matter where he is, does it?
 
It's a Team. No matter how good he is/was, he's no better that anyone else on his own.

And like the rest of us mortals.....we're all superseded sooner or later.
 
Play anyone else or play a 10 man team; anything or anybody is an improvement on that self-centered pillock.

I think the solution would be to play Tim Henman at no.7 for England and enter Beckham for Wimbledon.
