I've just got a respectable 56 out of 70 in the Test the Nation English Quiz. How did everyone else fare?

By the way, I did have a few glasses of wine before doing the test so that could possibly have affected my result.
 
Wahey,that means on average my 55 out of 70 beats the women lol.Until people start coming on saying they got 71 out of 70.
 
I got 55. I'm totally hopeless when it comes to the newfangled stuff and some of the rhyming slang. I'm also a bit dubious about one of the official answers because that isn't what I was taught at school, and I'm going all the way back to Peel Park Juniors.

WE were taught when a noun ended in "s" the possessive was made by simply adding an apostrophe as in "St. James' Church"



 
1 never ever get anywhere near,i missed the first section ,i thought i was doing well at first but heh,, i realy must be dumb....i only got 28 questions right,
 
I missed most of it which is a pity because it was a good bit of fun watching the the part I did see.
 
I missed all of it - I was doing something else with my wife :D







We were watching a DVD (honestly, you lot have such dirty minds!!!) :rolleyes:
 
You could have been out for a meal and missed it.Imagine thinking are minds are one tracked tut tut.:)
 
I vaguely recall Staggers and I tied on 67, although I cannot be certain because of the affects of 6 pints of the finest Harvest ale (on top of everything else). I wonder if Staggers can confirm?
