Well, I paid for my day off yesterday...... the ankle biter came today.
I gave him his breakfast and he was a smiley little chap. I got him washed and changed and got some of his toys out for him to play with.....the house looks like a bomb site when he has his toys all over the place. His current favourite is a ball shape sorter......there must be about 20 different pieces to it and they were all over the floor.
We have made a bit of progress though, I can now get him to pick them up and put them into a waste paper basket.
Then he got out his ride on doggy and kept trying to get under the table on it......banging his head in the process.
He played for most of the morning and then he started to get fractious.
Tired, I thought...... needs a nap (me, not him) so I took him upstairs and put him to bed....... hubby decided he would go up and lie on the bed beside him to 'supervise' the nap. He only had about 40 minutes and got up really crammed.....he hadn't had his sleep out.
He cheered up when I gave him his lunch. I made lunch for daughter too when she got in from college.
Daughter was saying that the ankle biter needed a haircut. She took him to the hair dressers recently but he would not sit still for long enough.
I told her that I had some Wahl clipper and that we could sit him in his high chair and we could do it.
I got the kit out and we strapped him into his chair.....he was not a bit impressed I can tell you. Anyway daughter started at the back while I held his head......otherwise he would have looked like a convict.
It took us about 15 minutes and it was a very passable job..... he looks like a proper litle boy now his curls have been shorn off.
