The Arndale Clock

I don't know how much it would cost to put the clock back in the Arndale What I do know is that a lot of people seem to have liked the clock when it was there.

All us want to see the Town Centre doing well. Putting the clock back would be a contributing factor in bringing people back into the town centre in my opinion. All be it a small part, but it would help.

Anyone interested in this might want to listen to Radio Lancashire tomorrow morning.

I would rather poke myself in the eye then listen to Radio Lancashire, I am 40 not 140 :D

Will you be letting us know after it has been on the radio?

Gayle, give us a clue what time. I might be interested in listening!

er, Neil, whats wrong with Radio Lancashire. Ted Robbins is BRILL on this show!

I like Ted Robbins too, but Stevie Royal must have the most annoying voice on the planet!!....sorry 2nd after Wossy!!:D

Best Regards - Taggy

Shame. Perhaps, it's something that our Councillors should putting forward for the Town Centre masterplan.

Maybe this clock could be put in the ne market hall. It might attract a few more people in. The great leader of the council could organise it and then add another brass plaque to his collection.
Right i'm off to hide.

Good idea.

It might halt plans for a more lasting memorial to himself, commemorating all the good work he's done for the town.

Forgot to mention, was talking to a member of the council, in the market hall on Wednesday. When asked my views, one of my comments was that the clock could possibly be found a home there. The answer was "its being looked into" - hmmmm! We will see eh.
