The Card.

I must admit to feeling just a bit guilty about getting last years card out to give him.....but felt exonerated as he didn't even notice it was last years card....he would not have got away with it if he had pulled that trick on me......I felt even further justified later in the day.

I went over to see daughter.
I told her that her dad had got me a card...and what was even more surprising was that the words were lovely...she grinned at me and said she knew......because her dad had asked if Greg was going out...would he please get him an anniversary card....so the blighter hadn't even chosen it himself at all...my son in law had picked it!

He'll be lucky if he makes it to 48 at this rate.

well he was thinking about you and did get you a card even if it was in a roundabout way
and it was a NEW card:D

yes, but the sentiments were not his Mick...and he didn't even notice it was last years card......I was thinking of him too.
I know what it is like to have given a card but not get one in return(and this doesn't apply to anyone other than him - I would not send a Christmas card just to get one back) and got out the card from last year, to save his feelings......I could have left him without, let him think I don't care..but it wouldn't be true.:)
