The Coppice

Save the trees! Is this safety thing a genuine issue? If so, are there any places left where you good folks feel comfortable walking?

I have not been up the coppice for over a year, but now you have come to mention it i think its time to take the old dog for a walk lol!!

I remember the Coppice before those foreign trees were planted, they should have planted indiginous trees and the wildlife would not have deserted the Hill. Birds and naural wildlife will not live there as it is not their natural environment, Douglas Firs ans Scandanavian trees do not belong here, When will they learn!

Ah, Ianto, you nipped in ahead of me. Didn't realize that the trees in question were of foreign extraction.

I have found wildlife to be very adaptable, though.

The coppice was a very good walk when i was a lad but now iam unabble to walk that far now and i miss out on thing,s like that but i hope they dont spoil it.

So do I Ian and I too wish they had not planted those alien trees.

Even football seemed far more interesting, and a damn sight cheaper when viewed from the side of the Coppice.;)
