They seem to know........

I would like to say Thank you to Lettie, Harwood Red and Slinky, your kind words DO help.

It is very strange being without Barker. Hubby doesn't know what to do with himself......so to help him out I have suggested......very gently, that he replaces the bulb that is gone in the bathroom, that he reseals the shower because it is leaking AGAIN.....and one or two other little jobs around the place.

Monty and Pasha seem to know that something isn't quite right.......they loved Barker too, maybe because he thought of himself as an honorary cat.......Pasha will miss her grooming sessions.........she would lie in front of Barker and her would lick her ears out.......I know that sounds really gross, but she seemed to like it a lot.
Pasha was all over me last night.......amd Monty who isn't the least bit friendly came and sat next to me and rubbed his head on my arm......it was almost as if they were trying to make me feel better.

I have had to stand my keyboard upside down today to let all the tears drain out of it.......I was awash last night writing my blog.
Thankyou for sharing my sadness.

They do know don't they...... My dog was beside herself when the cat died a couple of years ago and followed me around for days. She was depressed for about 6 months and still wags her tail and cries when she sees a cat.

Cats do know when something is wrong. Cats and dogs are very instinctive creatures.
I hope your pain goes soon, I know it wont ever be forgotten, but it will get better. xxxxxxxxx
