I will be on the plane........no not an aeroplane.
The living room door needs half an inch taking off the bottom:D.
That had you going, didn't it?

Rod, the decorator swung by today.
He brought some samples of textured paper....robust stuff, stuff that will, stand up to the rigours of children and a cat(they like to sink their claws into those blown vinyls-the cat I mean).
He measured up. I chose the colour of the emulsion and the satin paint for the woodwork.
He starts at 9 am next Tuesday.
He tells me that he will have the textured paper on the walls by this time next week.
I will go and buy the patterned paper for the feature walls.....and the front room should be completed next week.
I had better start looking for some drapes and a colourful rug.....I might be having my cocoa and doing the crossword in there this time next week.

theres a rug shop on infant st .. walked past it today on my way up to take the photos for the avenue parade test ...

Yes Jen.....going to have a look there and also the furniture shop on Abbey St.(no, not Maundy Grange - this shop that used to sell very posh frocks).....need to look at squishy sofa's too.
I would like to buy from a local independent store rather than DFS or one of those stores.....plus, they don't seem to have much that floats my boat......and I saw a lovely big easy chair in the shop on Abbey street.
