I am so annoyed..... At the end of June I telephoned Lords cricket ground and ordered 2 tickets for the forthcoming Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy final between Lancs and Sussex. They said that the tickets would be sent out within a couple of weeks. I have still not received them six weeks later.
I telephoned Lords today and they confirmed that they were sent out on 2nd July, so they may be lost in the post. I am livid and have visions of some postman somewhere sitting in our seats at Lords, having robbed my tickets. I have asked Lords to re-issue the tickets but I have to put it in writing. I have my letter written and will send it recorded delivery tomorrow. I have also requested that we pick our tickets up at the venue on the day of the game. Hopefully they will cancel the old tickets because if we find anyone sitting in our seats on the day, they will not only be subject to a police interrogation but may also be in need of an ambulance.
I have e mailed Lords to ask whether they used Royal Mail or some other postal service and where they posted the tickets from. I am going to formally complain to the postal service and need this information. I hope Lords oblige and provide the info. I'm sick and fed up of services which we pay for, not being up to scratch. I'm not normally a complainer and I tend to apologise for complaining but not anymore........... After my success last year with the holiday company, I am going to start complaining more in order to get a fair service. watch this space........
