Rindy's nocturnal sleep journal- yawn, yawn, yawn..........

For three nights l didn't sleep at all from Wednesday until Saturday morning. l didn't feel that bad considering, a bit achey and manic, but hey nothing much new there then!!

Saturday evening l was supposed to go out for supper then for a booze up with my friends Yvonne and Eddie. At two o'clock Saturday afternoon, l felt as if l might be able to sleep. l set the alarm to wake me at six p.m., plenty of time to go to the cash point, bathe and make myself half way decent.

Good morning Vietnam.

l eventually woke at 2.30 a.m. this morning after sleeping for nearly twelve hours. lt was dark, l was confused. What day was it? The phone which is right next to my bed showed l had twelve unanswered messages flashing. Most messages were from Mum, who was getting more and more worried. Luckily she came down and saw my car and realised l hadn't run away to join the circus. She did try to get in with her spare key but l had double locked the door. Thankfully she didn't call the fire brigade to rescue me, because l would have been sure to think l had been dreaming to find my bedroom full of firemen!!

I feel rested and not at all bad to day. The sun is out, it's warm and feels like summer has eventually arrived. After having breakfast at Mum's along with a swim, l returned with a car full of geraniums, some of which are so big l've had to sacrifice a little table to the weather to best display them. It's so full of hanging blooms, and looks fantastic by the front door to Rindy Towers.

Off to read the Sunday papers outside now, drink lots of good coffee and smoke a cigarette. Bliss. :)

You must have needed the sleep. I hope you are awake on Wednesday, because if it is a nice day I have a feeling that we will be stopping by a certain ice cream shop in Edgeworth...
