Another sleepless night.
l had a good day yesterday.
The course l'd been sent on ended. I'll really miss the free veggie lunch. l would always choose a meat dish ordinarily, but these still warm pizzas and quiches etc. were delicious. The people were great too, one woman cried when she said goodbye to me, which made me fill up as well. The culmination of the course was a presentation about our various groups to a class of teenagers, using all the new skills we'd been taught, l did a film and a Q & A session and it seemed to go well.
In the evening l went with Lindsay and g78 to watch Stanley. Again l really enjoyed it. We won, silver ware on only my second visit, result!
I really must try and get some kip today because tonight it's the Parkinson's Disease Soc. meeting. l know l won't be able to manage the hour it takes my lift to get to Burnley without screaming, or jumping out of the car. Lovely people, but it is exactly like 'Last of the Summer Wine' when Thora Hird drives the other women in her little car.
