Arrived on Saturday morning to give Collette a bit of a hand with some canvasing in her ward but no sooner had we knocked on the first few houses and the skies opened. We finished the street but fortunately it was only a short street before we called it off.
I went out on my own patch for half an hour later and the same thing happened. So, today I thought I'd give it ago and the exact same thing happened. It's just so frustrating.
But having said that the few people people that I have spoken to over the last few days have been very supportive. Apart from the woman who thought I was the Betterware collector! I hope the weather improves soon.
