Transfer deadline day...........
- Thread starter smudgie
- Start date
the rumour down that way is that the bid was £100k
maybe next season in League 1.
and with Danny Coid
Hoping for a centre-half, personally.
Seemed a tidy player. On non-contract terms with Halifax last I heard after being released by dirty Leeds.
Hatfield was here for two months, but I find it difficult to form an opinion on him as he arrived when we were very poor - just two wins in 14 matches - and the 4-2-3-1 system just wasn't working.
With Barnett, Craney & Lindfield on the bench, though, I can't see him being any more than a squad player at the moment.

Hatfield was a product of the Leeds United youth system, having joined the club as an eight-year old. He rose through the youth team and also into the reserve team, where he captained the side. After receiving squad number 37 for the first team at Leeds during the 2010–11 pre-season, on 28 January 2011, Hatfield joined York City on loan, where he played four games for the club.
On 14 October 2011, Hatfield joined League Two side Accrington Stanley on loan. He made his debut for Accrington Stanley as a half time substitute against Swindon Town on 15 October.
After his loan spell at Accrington ended, Hatfield and fellow team-mate, Sanchez Payne, joined Lincoln City on trial with the view to joining the club on loan.
It was announced on 12 January 2012, that Hatfield was to leave the club after agreeing to mutually terminate his contract.
On 21 January 2012, he signed for Conference North side FC Halifax Town on a non-contract basis following a trial period with the Shaymen.
