This is an absolute amazing movie. Personally i never watched the cartoons as a kid and wasn't enthusiastic about the movie until i watched it at the staff showing yesterday and was i blown away (maybe not the wisest choice of words in this "climate of fear" and "war on terror") anyway the special effects are just stunning. usually movies that have great special effect lack substance in the story but Transformers keeps you on the egde of your seat. I definitley recommend this movie.

its a 12A. here the synopsis from the vue website
Based on the hugely popular cartoon and toy range from the 1980s, ‘Transformers’ revolves around a war between two sets of robots for supremacy on earth. Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots, who have travelled to earth to protect mankind from Megatron and his evil army of Decepticons. Meanwhile, young human Sam Witwicky buys his first car, which just happens to be Autobot Bumblebee, and soon finds himself embroiled in the battle to save the planet

at first I thought this was a cartoon, but it isnt, seen the trailer and i fancy watching it meself;)

I would have dismissed it out of hand before reading this Kash but it sounds like it might be worth looking at.

Wouldnt bother going to see it anytime this weekend. It will be full of little kids screaming and running about thinking they are really funny by repeating what is said on the film.

I remember when the craze first started so I might have to go and see it. Question is though at one of the Vues or at a Ciniworld one?
