Hang on a minute, doesn't plural mean consisting of, containing, or pertaining to more than one??
There is only one Wales (country) so therefore cannot have a plural.
Islands though (ie Falkland Islands) is a plural because there is more than one island, otherwise it would be Falkland Island.
I think he meant ending in S. 1 Wale - 2 Wales lol.
Then the question would be the only country name ending in S. Not plural..... because it isn't.
Maybe it is just that the plural and singular have the same form. Like sheep (no sheeps), deer (no deers), moose (how about mooses, or meese).I think he meant ending in S. 1 Wale - 2 Wales lol.

sorry cant sleep for all this noiseLol well obviously but seen as he classed wales as being plural it was obvious what he was asking for.

This is true. Unless one considers North Wales as being sort of separate from South Wales. But there is only one Wales, therefore has no plural.
