So, once again, we have somebody giving us the benefit of their wisdom on how to improve Accyweb, Usually it's a newcomer, but sometimes it's someone like you who's been on for a few years, but has suddenly decided to become a regular poster.

Well, thanks, but no thanks. We're quite happy as we are and we're not going to change because you happen to think we should do. Accyweb may be a hostile, forbidding place to newcomers in your view, but it's funny how we keep seeing fresh faces hopping on board. And we must be doing something right because Accyweb, for all its faults, is one of the most lively, popular local forums in the area. If you don't believe me, go and take a look at the forums for neighbouring towns. Everyone's oh so polite, logical, adult, happy to keep to the subject in hand...and deadly, deadly dull and boring. That's why they have fewer members and fewer posts than us.

So, Daz, as I say, thanks for your advice, but we'll pass this one up!

spent the time to read from begining to end, even followed the links and read them.

Woweee, spent the time to read a thread 6 or so pages long, a thread that the starter could have looked up for himself.

Why not spend time apologising to those whose post's you could have read rather than just assuming that any opinion but your's does not deserve fair scrutiny?

Spot on Wyn, Burnley has gone, Blackburn is very quiet and so is Rossendale, there aren't too many sites like this that have visits from over 150 members every day and god knows how many guests. So as you say if somethings right and it ain't broke it don't need fixing, and for those who think it should change there are other websites, go find

Agree other forums are dead/dying frequently, as someone said this place will not suit everyone, well if it don't sod off to somewhere that does suit.
