Trumpet needed...

[Gayle]

Does anyone have an old trumpet or horn of any sort that I can borrow for the weekend?

I can collect anywhere in the area.

It's for use on stage for the play that's on this week.

I hope you are expecting some odd replies to that.

Not from anyone else!!!!

I've got a Viking horn - don't expect that's what you're looking for though.

What does it look like? Because I'm desperate!

lol it looks like an animal's horn and I have never been able to get a sound out of it!

I've a brass and copper post horn on my dining room wall. You can borrow it if you feel like a run out to Lymm. It's about 3' long (that's the horn - not Lymm).

[BERNADETTE]

What about asking one of the schools to lend you one Gayle? Surely worth a try

Thanks for the offer but I don't have time. I've left it far too late and only have time to go local but Willow's offer is greatly appreciated and I'll be collecting soon.

Thanks

Glad to be of help - now I can go out for my daily wander.

The play is over but thanks anyway.

Hope the horn worked out OK.

As it happens, I'm afraid your horn didn't have a starring role in the show after all as I did actually find a trumpet after all.

The show did go well though and I really appreciate your offer. I'll get it back to you tomorrow morning if that's ok.
