TROPHY

Just been up to SDL on unit 65 estate just outside Accrington.. It's surridge as well as having a mass of trophies

Picked a great one out for MOTM ..it really is something special... instantly liked it as soon as we saw it.

When we went to pay and explained who it was for.. they said no charge and they are happy to donate it for Accy Cricket club.

What a nice world we live in :)

That is really fantastic news! It's all set to be a great day on Sunday; even the weather looks better and we are now up to 30 on the list ! I am off down the club in a bit for 20/20 so will update 'em on the numbers and tell 'em about the trophy ! Thank you very much Mr K you really are a star !:Banane20::Banane20::Banane20:

I know u said 4pm today but just got a message from Cotty - him and his girlfriend Nicola want to come. I'll get him to visit the forum to check if this is ok as I am going to a jewelry party now so not going to get online to tell him :)

No probs;one of the guys who is helping with the catering is watching the thread so he knows the score (thanks Phil! ) All being well it should be a lot of fun. See you all on sunday !

Not sure about the final score, i know Enfield were chasing 125 and did it with only 1 wicket down ! I was busy flipping burgers again!

All set for tomorrow chaps? Let's hope the weather is kind ! Just give your user names on the gate and you will be in for free;head to the pavilion, someone, poss me, will collect money off you and your buffet and drinks will be there for you ! We haven't managed to get you on the programme (due to the programme chap coming back off his hols and being unaware of this momentous occasion !) but you will get lots of mentions on the Tannoy and our unending gratitude ! Can I also point out that as sponsors you get free use of the function room so if you have any celebrations coming up it's worth bearing in mind ! Here's looking forward to a good day and hopefully a home win !
Thanks again for your much valued support.

Was more concerned about the state of the pitch... I know they play in rain but if they hadn't used covers the fielders might be squelching on the grass like we were yesterday :D

Was just wondering that meself HR .. my image of my lovely flowery skirt, flies gently buzzing, smell of the summer flowers, sun glasses/ chilled glass of wine with tea and sandwiches, and the gentle sound of cork against willow has just flown out of the window.. :(

Having to grab the jeans instead, humph and me umbrella doesn't even match for heaven's sake !!
