[taddy]

I have had the nickname of Taddy since my parents moved from Burnley to Huncoat in 1954, when I started at Huncoat school, the headmaster introduced me as a new boy who was a tad shy and the name stuck, although it is very rarely used nowadays. Most the lads who used to call me Tad or Taddy have either moved away or sadly are no longer with us.
