I'd like to start with afternoon tea and Nice biscuits.
Real ale and proper pubs.
Ken, they are all in my list as well - simple pleasures indeed.Freshly laundered bed linen.

Your easy to please cashyGoin up Stanley.

Wot Cashy said.
To expand a little...sitting in the Oaklea on Saturday afternoon, quaffing cider and enjoying the craic with Cashy and the chaps...standing on the Clayton End listening to the banter and experiencing that unique feeling that comes from supporting your hometown club...walking up Livingstone Road exulting in another well-deserved victory!
(plus I'll be getting a pint out of you.
)I'm starting to worry a bit about yeh Ken.Beautifully produced audio drama. Probably among a small minority here but BBC Radio's The Lord of the Rings in 1981 is still sublime. There are around a dozen new Doctor Who episodes produced every month and most of those stand up extremely well - darkened room, candles, best sound system and a glass of something, it really helps me to unwind.
Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds is also pretty damn fine.
