Maybe becuase you were playing a team that plays football where it's supposed to be played, on grass. Unfortunatley most League 2 football is played somewhere up near the flight path for Manchester Airport

he was very good first half tht number 10! did some good touches,specialy like the one where he flicked it onto the other attacker, hope he signs for us1 but looking at fishy site tonight with the offical squad numbers thier is only 20! he was injuryed 2nd half but still put in a good effort. you could see he still wanted to give is all even though he was in pain! word is he played for swindon last year i think it were when they played against us

i agree with tin monkey,i was there tonight v everton and there were a few plusses but the usual defensive blunders were still there.yes it's going to be a long hard season,but i hope lady luck is on our side a bit more this season.

Paul Sturrock did not want him:

He had him out on loan to Brentford within days of arriving saying "I played striker and....." basically he did not fit in with his ideas.

I dont know his name but the really tall one we had tonight, spoke to him after match asking if he was signing & said he hopes so
His name is Fola Onibuje, 6ft 6in tall,born Nigeria,24 yrs old
He looked well worth a shout to me. Ryan had some good runs and pots on goal - in fact we actually threatened their goal a few times! The two young subs in the second half up front (from the academy?) gave it a good go and looked more likely to score than anyone else we have to choose from.
that andrew smith came on in second half looked good had few shots one just hitting crossbar! grant played well tonight some good crosses and some good runs down the wing, we just need to be better at free kicks! i thought we played very well tonight better than burnley game anyway
