My fear is that my old mate trained the winner of the 4th at Trentham (Wellington) yesterday at long odds. Its name Donnybrook...could be a good or bad omen right there.
vs Donny
- Thread starter Kiwi Johnny
- Start date
1 nil Donny.........ohhhhhh dear...from a corner...
*^&^$%^$%(*%$&*&%&$*&*&^$^.
..Morning CG.
Excellent save by McCracken...prevents a second goal
Hi Kiwi......following the game via BBC online audio by Dan Jewel and Sean McConville, sounds like its all Donny
..We're just letting them have a footballing tantrum-then we settle into the attacking stuff.... ( I hope)
We need to hang in there somehow.....Donny have a dangerous free kick 3 yerds outside the box.
How far is 3 yerds ???
McCracken keeping us in it another superb save. Stanley hanging on .....just
4 metres Kiwi
Stanley picking up lots of yellow cards. Molyneux a real threat for Donny.
First real Stanley chance, Longello shot deflects off Whalley....goal kick
...he's a Stanley old boy isn't he?
Corner Stanley....... retake........shirt pulling a plenty......headed over by Mellor
Pritchard shoots over the cross-bar
Donny corner...still threatening.....Pritchard clears...Stanley in their third kit....Black with Rainbow patterns......
..dam ugly strip is that third thing..
We're due a run in the FA Cup. Knocked out in the 1st round for the last 3 years.......PLEASE!
I quite like it Kiwi........scramble Longello and Donny keeper, goes Donny's way
