well done stanley 3pts well deserved, though was on pins near the end.:) now go get the rest of the points,yehh.:) was defo a penalty- was dead on line,but to me that was down to a dumb linesman.

From where I was standing I could see he was a couple of feet outside the box, still it was the turning point of the game. When we didn't have worry as much about defending due to their 10 men we played some half decent football at times.
 
Thought Antwi was outstanding today. Nothing got past him. It was strange seeing a proper defender ;)

Just for the record, definitely not a penalty.

And Antwi? Awesome, and deserves a lot of the credit for Cav's free kick going in. Can't say too much, it might work again. :)

Agreed, played a blinder today, you'll be seeing more of him, probably in a higher league
 
Excellent day despite the weather, the lads where well deserving 3 points and god did it take a long time to come. Antwi? (sp) Well done, welcome to the club, hope you enjoyed it, get this lad signed boss.

A good team selection today, a good spirited performance and 3 points to drive off the cold wet weather of an Accrington spring day. Bloody marvelous.

Can we do it again next week please.
 
Gotta say, Antwi was a revelation, and I cannot remember going to watch Stanley when our own goalie has had so little to do! Defo not a penalty, was a couple of feet outside the area, however, there were other shouts in the first half when there was a clear handball, even those in Preston saw it. Referee was a prat, but at least one liner had a decent game (Whinney Hill side). I even sold the winning 50/50 ticket to an Accy fan (not Jimbo I hasten to add). Nice to meet him though. We will have to get Michigan Red abnd Kiwi John over next. Now that would be an achievement.

But yes 11 good performances today, in probably the most tense game seen at FES, Procky and Jay battled for everything.

Just need to keep it going, anyone know what's up with Rommy?
 
well must say im just drying out, but a brilliant game ,well done to the lads ...had a great day over there today despit the rain and will be back soon...

They where a team today, everyone of them put some grit into it. What a day.....:)
 
That's a point ref wasn't too terrible, Rocky got away with a handball in the first half which should have seen him sent off :D
