Ok who knew it was walk to work day today?

I didnt know.

Think it was all mainly based in London from the way the interview was going.

So heres the question who would walk to work? Is work close enough for you to walk to?

Entwisi i could imagine you hiking over threlwall viaduct...:p

Or all in all is this one more of them pointless days where they say turn your heating off, turn the lights off for an hour etc.

Ok when i do go to work i either catch the bus and walk down the road or catch the other bus that drops me off 2 mins walk away. Coming home - i walk up into town and have been known to carry on walking home or i walk round to sisters and she feeds me and then brings me home later.

I walked to work today sandyesterday and the day before that and..............

Mind you I work from home and only have to walk down the stairs!!

I used to walk to work when I worked locally, and when i wasnt local i used to commute by bus - train - metro or drive depending on where it was

Before I passed my test I always walked to work no matter what the weather was doing.

Now I'm lazy and drive everywhere.

heh, 54 miles each way, I think not!!!!

I would if I worked within a mile

up to 10 miles I'd have a moped/scooter

When i used to work on charter street in the old moss gears building i used to catch the school bus down to accy - and get away with paying half sometimes ... and then hike it up there every day - i hated hiking up willows lane but used to get a lift home.

first job every morning walk dogs for 20 minutes then 10 minutes cycle to work!
Sets you up for the day:hesoff:

I walk to work, takes me about 20 mins

Saying that, I walk the kids to school, little en to nursery, then walk to gym, walk back to nursery, another 20 mins walk home, 20 mins back to school later, then home again.
Then I gotta go to work, 20 mins there and back

I should be a size 8:rolleyes:
And am in need of learning to drive lol ( i quite like walking really)
