i was gonna make a suggestion regarding solar power but it seems the expert has spoken

what expert ...... i just buy lithium batteries ..you can take 1000 pics and a couple of videos without running out ...

you should have said, they don't usually like the type I posted.

They are usually 13.8v as well and not 12v and 3amp should be fine unless it is an older naughty one
