weather??

Well, the bad news is in; Nova Scotia's Shubenacadie Sam, Ontario's Wiarton Willie, and Punxsutawney Phil of Gobbler's Knob, Pa. all saw their shadows:mad: So that will be six more weeks of winter .... Happy Ground Hog Day:theband:
Do you really believe in all that?

love the film BTW:p;)

Think he might be in a different state Kate. South Australia on his profile. The fires are in Victoria. :)

Right, got it .... you mean South Australia as a 'state' (south east), rather than geographic south... which is where Victoria is. Just that he was talking about very high temperatures of 40+, Should be OK then. Ta.

Is difficult to imagine what they are going though isn't it.

If South Aussie is out there, please let us know you are OK ..x

We have been very lucky so far ,and not had any major bushfires as yet,in South Australia.
A fire started on Saturday [20klms away ] but was quickly extinguished.
South Australia is noted as being the driest state in the driest continent on earth
Let,s hope our good luck continues

Just finished looking at some pics on CBC.ca ... you guys got hit real bad ... Here's wishing you all "good luck".

Thanks for your response South Aussie .. very relieved.

Hey, blobs of ice dropped out from my milk this morning as I poured it over me breakfast cereal. First time for years.

Im hoping i can get the BBQ out this summer, since its been in the shed for 2 years!!:(

Having a bbq is not just a summer thing .... I used mine several times this winter ... shovel away the snow and away we go ... I have a great pic of my bbq peeking out of a snowbank, but I can't seem to get the damn thing on here:mad:

Can ya imagine getting the BBQ out now?, id get some right funny looks!!, LOL...but i bet it would smell bloody good and taste:)

When we had that scortching hot summer 2 years ago I desperately tried to buy a mobile airconditioning machine and they were sold out.

I eventually got one in a January sale (be prepared for next time I thought)

It has been used for less than 24 hours in total in the 2 years since.:o

It has an alternative function as a BIG fan heater - which might be needed someday:rolleyes:

Damn right it would smell and taste good ... imagine, out onto the ice, dig a hole, pull out some fat Walleye's, then home to the bbq ... a nice white wine chilling in the snowbank ..... mmmmmm:theband: if you live in a country where real winter weather is a given, you might as well get out and enjoy it ..... :mosher:
