we was in burnley yesterday, left about 2-00 ish, didn't think it was any worse.:confused:

I would hazzard a guess that petting a polar bear leads to even more pain than bobbing for french fries:eek:;)

As the polar ice caps melt, and the salinity of the oceans decreases, and the currents change, look forward to harsher winters ... maybe in fifty years England will be playing for the gold in the World Cup of Hockey:mosher:, probably losing to Canada in the finals.;):D

no thanks the thought of that makes me feel ill .... thank the chippies down here they dont sell them ... theres a chippie near spugs that sells em and last time i was up there he offered to buy me one to try .. no thanks yuk!!!!:eek::eek::eek:

according to the weather report this morning it aint gonna be a white Christmas, it has to snow at some point tomorrow to be classed as a white one
 
Freezing rain ... hate this crap ... looks like it's here for the next 24 ... hope it's not like the great ice storm of '98.
 
Had a nice sunny day yesterday, quite warm, then as the sun goes down, the rain falls, it has rained at some point everyday for the past week. never mind, roll on April when it is supposed to get warmer.

Nice and sunny here too, hon ... and a pleasant -24c:theband: ... think I'll take a walk down to Rhea's Bar and Grill and wrap myself around a couple of cold ones.
 
Had a nice warm day 86F/30C, loads of people walking round in shorts and sleeveless tops. love it. :cool: :D
