Seemingly, if we were allowed to step on a time machine to the 16th century, wouldn't be able to tell a word anybody said as sounds/accents have also evolved rapidly.

I would love to step on a time machine and go back,
Because you can hardly understand what any of the new yokels are saying at the present.
Wherever you go It's like visiting a foreign country.
 
ive often wondered where names come from too....i mean where the hell did shanida come from?? but saying that i think it was just mi dad taking the p*ss.....when i was born he said...shanida cot...shanida nappy...shanida potty.......smarts arse
