In answer to the actual question - TCP smells of...................TCP! I don't know of anything else that smells anything like it.
Olives I like.
TCP I don't like.

You got me under the mistletoe tonight and you did smell a bit antiseptic.
So I'm just off to soak my tongue in TCP.

Know what you mean Miss Kitty .. had a few of them meself and makes you feel a little boring, doesn't it ? However, lots of people do read them and does't mean to say they don't enjoy 'em.
As for the T.C.P. .. yuk, how can you gargle with that !! Me mum always did it when she felt a cold coming on and could smell it as soon as I walked through the front door and then immediately walked out of the back door to breathe in plenty of fresh air before I went back. Couldn't have still been there much at the Accyweb meet, would have detected it immediately !
My dad, on the other hand, plied his handkerchief with Eucalyptus oil which was almost as overpowering.
I dont really gargle with it or use it as perfume lol
*makes sure TCP bottle and perfume/mouthwash bottles are in very seperate places-phew!*
