Welcome to Bedlam.

I had a very busy day yesterday. We were up at the crack of dawn because Sparks was going to America to work for a week or so and he hadn't packed. By 9am he was on his way to the airport. My dad called round at 10am and asked if I was going to the party. "What Party?" I replied.

It was my nephew's 5th birthday party at Little Treasures and I'd forgotten all about it. My memory has gone completely, if I don't write things down I've forgotten them within minutes. Anyway, promising to be there I shot off into town to do my shopping and take my wedding photos to be developed. At least with digital pics, they're ready to pick up in 40 minutes, so I shopped whilst waiting for the pics.

I managed to get myself to Little Treasures at 12.30, after detouring to the garage for petrol. Well the place was heaving, kids and toys everywhere and the noise was ear splitting. It was like being in the Ape house at the zoo. Kids climbing everywhere, bouncing on the castle, playing with the toys and generally running amok. The little dears were all red in the face and sweating, bedlam is not a strong enough word to describe the scene.

They all had a good time though and Charlie got lots of presents. My sister informed me that Charlie had said that he wants a new mummy, they must have fallen out during the week. He has asked if he can live at my house, so she says that if I want to adopt the little monkey I'm more than welcome.... I may have to pass on that one.:D

My dad has persuaded me to look after his little dogs when they go on holiday. I protested because it's not fair to them, I'm working nights and long shifts so they'll be on their own a lot. He says that my mum has offered to walk them whilst I'm working and it's only for a fortnight, so i've ended up with them. They're 2 miniture Yorkies, Daisy and Molly, they are sisters from the same litter and are tiny little things. If you put the two of them together they wouldn't be the size of a cat. They're very sweet though and won't make a mess, so I agreed. My dad would've put them in kennels but they had a very bad experience at a kennels a few years ago and both needed veterinary treatment after being nearly starved to death. That's a different story for a different day..

With looking after the dogs and having to adopt my nephew I may have a full house soon..
