I told you a few days ago that ma had itchy feet and had booked a 'Mystery Break' with Robinsons.....it is a mystery no more.
On Monday we decamp to the good old Isle of Wight.....well, we have been getting withdrawal symptoms, it IS nearly 3 months since we were last there.
I did get a sneaking suspicion that ma would have liked to have gone to Torquay....but she is also pleased that we will be going to somewhwerw where we know the staff....and she dies like sitting out and watching the cruise liners come up To Southampton.
When we have gone away to places out of season, we have often mused and wondered what the place is like in summer......whether it is better, or whether the crowds detract from the place.......well we are now going to be able to find out.
I'm sure that Ma is packing her case as i type this.......me, well I'll wait until tomorrow evening...check the forecast and then decide what to take with me.
