Perhaps it's time they dropped charges for Whinney Hill tip?
If the builders etc. could tip for free maybe the council wouldn't have to clear up after the Cowboy's?

thats why your at university n i'm in the real world.I think this is no more than a protest at the ridiculous charges of properly getting rid of our waste.
In a country where littering on the street leads to a fine of £75 and overfilling your wheely bin costs an average of £100... what would you choose to do? On the spot fixed penalty too so taking you to court over either of these things isn't likely to happen before someone turns around and says that the courts wouldn't let that go unnoticed.![]()
Perhaps we should be frowning at the real problem here which is clearly the council!

Because the only way to get a job these days is to be in at least £15,000 debt and have it written down on a fancy certificate that I can read for 3yrs and have no life?
And presumably you are retired?

So...principled protestor making a noble stand against local council waste disposal policy...or traveller dumping his garbage before he moves on to foul up another part of the country...the choice is yours.
I know which one my money's on.![]()

Quite agree cashy, seems a bit pointless to me running up £15,000 debt, only to send the rest of your life servicing that debt stacking shelves at ASDAwhat the hell has this to do with the subject? if ya read my first post n understood it, your thought on the matter is typical, wynonie seems to have got my drift, then hes another in the real world.![]()

The attempt to ditch unwanted waste comes as Hyndburn Council battles against an alarming rise in the number of fly tipping incidents which are believed to have been prompted by the credit crunch.
