What a good idea!

[Margaret Pilkington]

I have just been on the 'quick links' section to see who was online......and I noticed that beside our names we have the flag of the country we are in.
I think this must be a very new addition.....I'm sure i would have noticed if it had been there before.....but what a good idea.

I was also quite surprised that a good proportion og those guests......have an American Flag.

[garinda]

I too noticed the little flags earlier.

A nice touch, though the two non-British ones on earlier I'm sure were search engines or spammers, as they had daft names and had never posted.

[Margaret Pilkington]

I have noticed you 'Goldies' seem to be exempt though.

[MargaretR]

Stateless persons? or illegal immigrants ?

[Lolly]

Yes i was thinking that Rindy, where are you??? and Mez also. Have you had a look at the guests? Most of them are in America, but theres someone looking at a thread about Huncoat Hall from Serbia Montenegro! lol.

[garinda]

Just checked, and you're right!

I want a flag!

Perhaps the goldies are treated like an off-shore tax haven, or a pirate radio ship.

They are in a World of their own!

[Margaret Pilkington]

A couple of folk in China....and Switzerland too.

Maybe your elevated status makes you a cut above the rest of us...only joking!

[garinda]

You can just tell that the Lithuanian one is about to spam in the Huncoat thread....any minute.

Fingers on report buttons...

Was just thinking that!

Blimey, Glinadoggirl, our Lithuanian friend, is a slow typer.

[slinky]

Oh I'm liiking these flags

[Margaret Pilkington]

I'm now going to be spending as much time viewing who's online as I do looking at the forum. I am intrigued...well, until the novelty wears off.
Small things....springs to mind.

[garinda]

Shakermaker and onlyme are online too, and are also flagless!

Perhaps they've climbed aboard the Golden pirate ship, anchored in international waters..

[Margaret Pilkington]

Get the Master at Arms Rindy......a walk on the plank should do it.

[garinda]

Is it because I won't swear allegiance to the Queen?

Ok I'll do it for a flag...but I'll keep my fingers crossed, showing I don't really mean it.

[MargaretR]

It seems to depend on the location of the server, because Roy was shown as russian

[Less]

It's all very well but I'm in Boloxnia, (which is an independent Communist state), but their flag isn't shown next to my name.

I think that you must be the President, Less
since you feature often in their world service
