Zone Alarm - Fire Wall
Pest Partol - Adware - Spy Bot S&D - adware, spyware ect.
Registary Mechanic & PC Optimiser - Fix certain problems.
Driver Detective - Make sure drivers are all upto date.

I have Norton thats provided by BT. If you have an anti-virus firewall antispyware etc whether it is free or payed for there should be no issues provided it updates regular. Mine searches automatically at fixed intervals. In the past I had free AVG and that also updated regularly.

I've got McAfee antivirus, firewall and the other thingies, AVG, Spybot, Adaware, CCleaner and in the process of looking for a different cleaner thingummy.
