What is your supported team or favourtie team/s?

Just wondering to see who the people of accrington support.

I would think the most obvious choices are blackburn, burnley and stanley.

So who do you support?
 
Most peeps in Accy probably support Utd above anyone else! The number of kids I've seen walking around in Arsenal or Chelsea shirts in Accy bamboozles me!

Good answer Wingy,this time next year those Arsenal and Chelsea shirts will have been replaced by the Liverpool shirt......... I hope !!!
 
:rose8: Rember when I was young we didnt have Stanley so I opted for the reds that will be Liverpool the main reason being Rovers old 3rd div (crap) and everyone from Ossy surpported them, Burnley old 1st div you got beat up if you walked through Accy with a claret scarf on, Man utd what can I say!!! everyone hated them and most still do, if you look at the general chat on the Accy web they are talking about joining with Blackburn well then in the late sixties the talk was of greater Manchester with Accy being part of it so no love lost for the scum. That left Bill Shankleys boys and you could get a train to preston then change to lime st be in the ground by 2-15 out at 5 on the Preston train by six and home by 7-30.
 
Well I used to live in London so I would have to say Chelsea (Although at the moment I don't like to admit that since the Abramovic thing :( being called a glory supporter)
But considering I'm just getting ready to go and see Stanley Vs Burnley....wow, I support two teams. :)
 
I honestly don't think that most people in Accy support Stanley, the majority wish them well but don't actually show any semblance of support like turning up at the matches!

Having spent a couple of years teaching youngsters in the area I can assure you that Man Utd still have the lions share of support amongst the school age group - however there is a growing number of young Stanley afficionados.
 
There are always loads of people who ask me in the pub 'how did Stanley get on' after I've been to the match on Saturday. I always say to them 'You should get yourself up there' - but the answer is always 'can't afford' as they put £30 into the bandit! I'm always amazed at the number of 'footy fans' born and bred in Accy who cant be arsed to get their backsides up there at least once a month.

That said I cant afford to go today (hypocrite warning!) - but I'm saving for the important matches (Conference)!
 
I`ve been a blackburn fan all my life and try to make all the games, only missed 6 last season:).

But i try to watch stanley too, but i can only make an handful of games a season.
