Well apparently, its the seeds and skin. So if ya scoop out the seeds and peel all the skin, you're left with ... WELL, NOT RIGHT MUCH CUCUMBER!! so ya won't burp haha

Cucumber doesn't have that effect on me - and I love it on sandwiches with cream cheese. My mother always said you should peel the skin off cucumbers or they would give you indigestion - Nope - skin off or on, they're fine with me. Maybe I've got a cast-iron stomach.
