I discovered Accy Web by accident two and a half years ago. I joined, thinking I'd probably never go back, as you tend to do with a lot of sites. I remember posting all night, and probably putting my foot in it, and sticking my oar in. No one took offence, and I was made to feel welcomed, and valued, which I hope anyone else does, that has found Accy Web.
Experience tells me you will get nowhere,first you will be labelled a Troll,then the Mafia will jump on youfrom a great height,and when you stand up for yourself that will be called confrontation and you will be banned wait and see if im right or wrong

And in most cases the moderators ban people who are disruptive and do not add to the reputation of the site.
I have had dealings with the moderators and found them to give a fair hearing.

Sometimes people do get off to a bad start. Blazey for example recently joined. She seemed full of it, and it was her way, or no way.
Now I think it's great that a young women has so much too say, and I'll listen to what she says, even though I still might not agree with everything she posts. She's a poppet.

Well i know i'm not a member of the mafia - cant be im a little 
Accyweb has it's ups and downs. There is a report button for posts that people have a problem with.
If this facility isn't used then the mods can't do anything about it. if people are fed up then start an interesting thread of your own. It's simple as. Your bound to get the odd winger and whiner but on the whole accyweb are a good bunch of people and the Mods do a good and often thankless job.

well we do seem to be being classed as the mafia ........mabe the ones who believe certain individuals are the mafia come to some of the meets & find out.

I've been accused of being part of the Ossy Mafia on this forum - you can guess who are supposed to be the other members.
Thing is that if this were the case we'd have all been concrete booted as we disagree with each other more often than not!
What always puzzles me is when someone new comes on talking about the 'mafia' strikes me that they've either been told to say that or they have some first hand experience of old. Are they really newbies?
