Willy Wonka III

I waited patiently at Gatwick for his delayed plane, it was so late l read the whole of Clive James's 'Unreliable Memories' which helped quell some of my mounting excitment. l'd booked a 'gay' hotel in Earls Court after looking for such in Time Out. l hadn't checked in yet and wondered how a gay hotel would differ from an ordinary one. Would it be pink, with fairy lights in the window?[ lt turned out to be more like a hostel, but decorated with everything Brentford Nylons had ever sold, including the sheets-yum.]
Eventually Willy's plane landed after being diverted to Munich. l'd bought flowers and was at the front of the barrier, dry mouthed, giddy with joy. l saw him, he looked different not so tan and wearing a great big wool coat. l waved and shouted, he saw me and gave me the strangest grimace/smile l'd ever seen. He came over and shook my hand! He then whispered in my ear his team mate was on the same flights out and back. All of a sudden a little blond guy smiled and shook my hand and introduced himself as Jurgen. l did a lot of shaking that evening!
Well l'd waited weeks to see this man l'd fallen for and now l was sat on the Gatwick Express chatting about how it was 'nice' Willy and l had made friends on holday. l chatted and played mine host. He, Jurgen was here to see the Car Show,[ no!] and said he'd found a hotel near the Exhibition Centre in Earls Court[NO,NO, NO!]
Eventually after pointing Jurgen to his hotel round the corner we were alone in our room. We'd spent a fortune on phone calls but nothing came close to tightly hugging someone l cared for deeply who reciprocated the feeling. The lights were off [which l think helped to stop some of the static from all the nylon in our little love nest- carpets, curtains, cushions even the towells had so little cotton an earbud would have been more absorbant!]
We lay in each others arms in the bed, contemplating if we could ever stir ourselves to get dressed and find somewhere for dinner. Suddenly there was a loud knock on the door and the handle moved as we didn't reply straight away.
"Hi Willy, Gary!
That funny guy downstairs let me in, lets go for something to eat, find a disco and find some girls!"

Oh, bloody hell!

To be continued.......
