Zaine Francis-Angol has spent the last week training with Southend.
Opoku, Maguire and Alese ahead of him in the pecking order, with Ogle also an option at the end of the season.

If he goes that's one off the wage bill either short term or for good hopefully we may see at least 1 incoming this week I believe Coleman has a loan target lined up.
Maybe a couple of LIVERPOOL strikers will be getting shipped out after missing a few chances yesterday. Get in there Coley.
well Salahs missed quite a few lately.
Why not if price was right and hasn't been that good lately.
If true, I would sell him
Finley has been off the boil the last few games imho.
Work it out ....... he will know all about the interest.

He would be no good for us! Ripping his shirt off like that and flashing his ‘four pack’ could really frighten some of our Ultras in the Clayton End!
Are you suggesting,28, that we conclude that a player’s reaction to being courted by another club is to play crap?

Sorry, didn’t make it clear that my question was for 28.
Well back in 2009 I think it certainly happened to one Michael Symes who up to Xmas was banging goals in for fun reported interest from Grimsby if my memory is correct certainly turned his head.
It’s called human nature.
Players have their heads turned regularly.

So it’s OK if players can’t or even won’t work to the best of their ability when their ‘heads are turned’ by the prospect of another employee?
If that’s the case with Finlay I’m just glad he’s not a surgeon or teacher.
