Winter Blues

Maybe why the club are not looking to put lots of cash into merchandising when its sitting on the shelfs in stock

I wouldn't have thought so really as you can order single items at bulk prices, and print/embroidery runs are cheap enough.

To get carriage paid on ordered items it would usually have to be an order over £250 (most places) put failing that delivery tends to be around £10, so ten items delivered means an extra £1 per item on the cost, and you can live with that. Sure your percentage is down, but you ain't gotta keep the large stocks on the shelf.

Would really like something with the Club's Creast on!
We must have done them in the past as seem to remember seeing Eric with a fleece on?:)

Ooh yeh forgot to mention them:o yeh they are in clubhouse too - even junior sizes:D At last the shop is least improving its stock:)

Looks like I'm having a walk up on Monday to have a look, my lad has put on his Christmas list a Stanley Away Kit, hope they have one.

Lee was trying to blag me into getting a top and wanted to know if I knew how many sheep had died to make that fleece!!!!!

I think to be fair to the Club the stock only arrived late Friday and with it being Matchday yesterday and all that that entails probably not had a chance yet to get them online

So here we are six days later and they've still not be added to the store. Not even an announcement about them on the news section, either. How do they expect to sell them if they're not advertised?

Lee from the clubshop can you please read and maybe find time to answer the odd e-mail, cheers.

I have only ever had one reply to an email I have sent to the club (or shop) and that took nearly 12 weeks to arrive from the date of me sending it.

The thing is, things never seem to get any better do they? I find it all so frustrating!

Gee if i hadnt of mentioned the new stock none of you would of known unless u went into the club shop of course:D

Your lucky. I've never yet had a reply to any of the emails I've sent to the club. And that's going back about 18 months. Still, the merchandise is in the shop, fleeces look good and I'm looking forward to Christmas!

The point is, those of us who don't go in the shop or are in distant parts, only know about them because StanleyMad told us. The club should be promoting their own merchandise to all and sundry. After all, they are the ones who always tell us that Stanley merchandise sells well all over the world!

I just want a reply to a query from Lee.
Thanks to whoever went in the shop today and mentioned that replies to e-mails where needed as Lee has now found my e-mails and answered my query, a bit of a worry was the e-mails had gone straight to his junk mail folder (am I that bad), cheers Lee for the reply if you read this.:)
