On a cold frosty night like tonight my favourite has got to be broth and dumplings, there's nothing like it to warm you up.

Whats yours

Home made potato pie......nice golden crust.......got to be made with corned beef.......mushy peas and red cabbage.....by golly, that sticks to your ribs

Oooohhhhhh sounds delicious.............. when can I come round.

I can't remember the last time I had home made spud pie.

And follow that with a nice dish of home made rice pudding.....nutmeg and brown skin on top......a dollop of raspberry jam in the middle...lovely.
They can all keep their nouvelle cuisine.....give me Lanky Grub.

A decent Hot Pot, with lots of seasoning, chunks of lamb, carrots and onions with layers of Golden sliced spuds and finally a little crumbled Lancashire on top and allowed to grill to a golden crust.

Got to be a generous helping of Scotts Poridge Oats with an extra helping of golden syrup on top.
