Ouote from today's 'Daily Telegraph ! :-
'Andrew Cole is on the verge of announcing his retirement after he was told that his £15,000 per week contract at Nottingham Forest would be cancelled within the next 48 hours..he has made it clear that he would walk away fro the game if he was not given sufficient starting opportunities'.
He is 37 years old !....but could he find 'sufficient starting opportunities' at the FES?.
But then does £15 K sounds just a tad beyond even the deep pockets of our Chairman ??. (Sorry Eric!).
But here I am wishing again....Heigh Ho!!.

:) but would he have the pulling power to increase the gate to justify the wages he would want,as much as i like Andrew Cole i don't think he has and at 37 his playing days are number'd but its a nice thought Yonmon:).. are you at the match tonight??

It's about time some celebrity pulled their finger out and forked out for an overpaid prima donna to wear the red.

Mab !. I thought that, looking a reasonable sort of Lad.
Andy (Sorry, Andrew as he likes to be known !) just might, with the prospect of reg ular strike duties alongside our No !, be persuaded to do with a variety of Washers of one size or another !!....But then again !!!!
