If this is any help. I was at school with a Dave Wolstencroft (1967) and he had a sister called Linda who married Tony Beresford and they live somewhere in Great Harwood.

Hi Lee, I do live in Gt. Harwood, and have done for the last two and a half years. I now live on Princess St; down near the gasometers. It would be good to meet up with you again although I cant for the life recall why we went our seperate ways after getting along so well on our first meeting. Im glad to hear that Im grand-dad to another two grand-children, that now makes 6---. hope to hear from you soon;Derek[dad]

Derek Wolstencroft, Did you (as a boy) live in Henry Street in Clayton-Le-Moors? If so I think I used to know you.

I used to know a Wolstencroft at All Saints School in the fifties. Lived in Clayton ... not sure what Street, but it was in the bottom end near where Sparth Road meets Whalley Road.

hi i know its a long time since you posted the message about your dad, im not related to derek, but i think he went out with my mum about 35 years ago, do you know if he used to be a male nurse at calderstones hospital. i have often wondered how he was, if he was still in the area, hope you found him, if so i would apreciate if you could let me know , many thanks marie.

Reading this as an outsider, it has thrilled me. Not only does it show that blood is thicker than water, but proves the value of Accyweb. I wish you all the very best - all t'lot o'you.

Well I'm pretty sure that David Wolstencroft was in my form at All Saints he had numerous other brothers and sisters, and they lived on the corner of Sparth Avenue and John Steet, if you were in the same class there is a class photo on the All Saints site on friends reunited you may be able to help with a few names which I am missing. Regards and best wishes to you all Old Saintonian. !!!!!!!
