*cough*

The fencing it right outside my shop. It feels like we are ina prison camp - it took them about 5 hours to get the fences up though, so I don't see the work being finished anytime soon!

Like I said in another post.....I heard a man from the Council telling the Manageress of the heart foundation shop that they would have it completed by Christmas......!

sounds about right for the council, dig it up say 3days , let it fill up with water 2months , fix it 21days , fill in 3days , job tacks 3months....... thats ok...

Just for you Acrylic-bob i got up at 6am and took these pics........ yawn
They were taken at about 6-30am .

Good grief! Broadway looks like a no-go area.

Great photis Mick. What were you doing up at that time of the morning?

Please don't take the p*ss, it's my new job, I've been taken on as nightwatchman to ensure that none of the expensive materials go missing!

(Any-one interested in purchasing some second hand sets they aren't that old if so see me third bench on the right any night except week-ends).

Thanks for the Pics Mick, you are an example to us all.

I had to laugh at the pic labelled 3.jpg. Can anyone tell me what is the point of putting a traffic sign at the top of Cornhill to inform drivers that Broadway is a Pedestrian Zone. I would have thought that if they had taken the time and trouble to drive all the way down Broadway to get into Cornhill in the first place that they would aleady be perfectly well aware that Broadway was a Pedestrian Zone.

I had a look along Blackburn Road from the end of Church Street on Sunday morning and was amazed at the number of traffic signs. It's a wonder there aren't more accidents caused by drivers being too distracted to be able to look where they are going.

This is one of the main reasons that HBC is short of cash. Rather than spend on things that are really necessary they throw it at road signage and putting numbers on every piece of street furniture in sight.
