worrying time

Tomorrow my Mum is having an operation to have gallstones removed, so im a bit snappy today, probably due to the thought of the op.
I know i shouldnt be worried, the surgeon has probably done hundreds of these before, but im only human and its my mum!

She got a letter the other week saying that to cut waiting times, is she prepared to go to a private hospital, she declined because my mum doesnt class herself as a snob.
After trying to tell her that they are NOT all snobs she finally decided to go, but iv forgotten which one it is now....its in blackburn, thats all i know. im sure ill find out tommorrow.
well I hope everything runs smoothly and she is ok.
All i want is for this to be over with

Jacqui, you wouldn't be human if you didn't worry about your Mum.....it is normal, it is natural.
Yes, these operations are very much routine.....when they are happening to other people.
Is it Beardwood where you Mum is having her op?

Like you say you worry its your mum thats having the op, the doc and nurses will be used to panicking relatives.

panther tell yer mum, i always pick private hospitals from the list given, n last thing i am is a snob. she will be fine in one, i have no complaints whatsoever. hope shes fine x

It will be fine and you will find it's prob the best move she evere made... I had my gall bladder removed and the relief from the suffering was unbelievable.
