there seems to be a lot of skipton old roads mez,the hare and hounds i was on about is nearly at the top of the moors going from colne to skipton:cook38: and i dont think barges would get up there:signbeer:
 
The barges used to go from Foulridge but it's years since I went so I don't know if they still do or not.

As far as booking goes, what day are we talking about? Another one of my problems is Busman and his funny hours. He works unpredictably. He's workignt his Saturday evening which is why we won't be about.

There must be a lot of Hares and Houndses.

xmas do, will be the hare & hounds in colne, not foulridge, (my mistake) please can you pm me with your names if you are going as we need to book the transport , all are welcome of course, time of meet when i collect the numbers going, then we will be back to meet anyone who, wishes to join us in the stag later. TA .
 
Now I am going to be in trouble Mez! My "works" do is also on the 11th so I will be unable to come with you all :( I have explained to Willow that she cannot come as it is an "employees only" type pub crawl!
Maybe she will find a way of joining you all that evening without me, but whatever, have a really good evening, all of you xx
 
no probs busman, yes mabe willow can join us later if she dosent want to come for the meal,have a good time on your do then,
 
we are planning to meet in the stag 2pm have a drink then onto minibus (coach) over to the hair & hounds on black lane ends colne have a meal then back to the stag for 7-30is were we can meet up with those who do not want to come for a meal, & hopefully have a reight good do, as usual he he :thumbsup: any problems with times let me know, im sure something can be sorted.
 
It sounds good does that, Mez. Unfortunately, there is a very strong possibility that I will be working in Hull that weekend. The company I work for might have a contract to move a machine at Smith & Nephew Medical Products factory. The likelihood is that the machine is de-wired and moved over that weekend, then re-installed and commissioned over the Christmas shut-down. I'm sure Lettie would tell me how good it was. :o
 
Looks like I'll be there without my sidekick..:( Ah well, I'll just have to enjoy myself anyway, It'd be rude not to..:drunk:

due to the lack of responce for an xmas meal out, im cancelling it & just meet in the stag for some drinks

The Stag will be just fine Mez. If we get hungry we can always nip over to Monte Cristo or summat. Looking forward to seeing you all, should still be a good do..:D
