Liverpool's Lindfield joins on loan
www.accringtonstanley.co.uk

i think he is a good player and this is another good positive signing! we now have mullin, kallum and lindfield upfront now! morecambe is looking more positive to win now

keep the faith:D

well done coley and jimmy on this signing

'On 1 November 2007 he joined Notts County on a month's loan[2], and on the 3 November 2007 he scored 23 minutes into his league debut against Accrington Stanley which ended in a 2–0 win to the Magpies'

from wikipedia

Won't hold this against him if he can hit the net a few times for us. He's a six footer too so maybe that'll take some of pressure off Mullin to win all the high balls

From a Liverpool Academy blog: 'Craig Lindfield went out on loan to Notts County and Chester and enjoyed a very good spell at both clubs. He joined Notts County on a 4 week loan deal in November 2007 and immediately made a good impresssion scoring on his debut against Accrington Stanley - just 3 days after joining them. He volleyed home a wonder goal helping the side to victory. It was painful for Accrington Stanley boss, John Coleman to see his side lose to a Lindfield goal as he had been tracking the striker for his own side: “We have been monitoring him for 18 months and then he popped up with a goal like that” bemoaned Coleman.'

Anybody out there seen this chap play????? Is he something to get excited about (another Gornell)

:confused::confused::confused:

Hope he does well,we need all the help we can get,only time will tell,maybe he'll score on his debut for us fingers xxxx.3 points are a must tomorrow night,hope this is where we turn the corner.

He is no Gornell.........but may do a job for us...........
Decent player but lack of pace will prevent him moving any higher than league 2/conference level!!

Fingers crossed he scores a few!!

It stinks of desperation when you're pinning all your hopes on a 20 year old lad that none of us have even seen play! :D

Not all hopes, but just some hopes! Just being positive - well trying! Lets see him in action tomorrow night and see how we go from there.

never seen him, but my thoughts are 1 in is better than 0 in simple as. strikers are not abundant at the FES.

I hope craig linfield can do some good for us and i personally would have liked coley to try and get kristian nemeth on loan from liverpool.I've seen nemeth in action and he is very good but unfortunatly he's gone on loan to blackpool,wish we could have got him as well.
