I used to love dumplings when I was young, the old lady used to make great broth with dumps, tried it myself once, went in the kitchen half an hour after adding the dumplings, thought the Blob had returned from the arctic, they were all over the place

It has been oddly fascinating reading what everyone has been eating. I think a lot of the food has become much more "American", I remember when I first came here, my family were thrilled to taste frozen yoghurt, blueberry muffins and their favourite waffles.
Now you can get so much more over there, although this is for Eric I am sure he will agree nothing beats Tim Hortons over here.
There is a god, and his name is Tim Horton ... there's a Timmy's in Kandahar; and I believe the govt. is going to put one at the North Pole in order to establish Canada's sovreignty over the Arctic .... and now, it's time to Rrrrrrrrrroll Up the Rim ....

And I remember watching him play ... great defence man for a Leafs team that wasn't a joke.

Roast Pork for us with buttered carrots and brussel sprouts(we like 'em)......stuffing, apple sauce and Roasties.......and a yorkie pud too.
Not sure about dessert.......though I don't have dessert these days I do make it for hubby and our guests. It might be rhubarb crumble...or it could just be strawberries and ice cream.
