I wish your Grandad could have taught me how to do that.
There must be a lot of unsung heroes in this town. (The "Coronation Street Girls" thread is similar to this but I didn't want to post my original post of this thread in that one because mine wasn't anything to do with Coronation Street. That was why I started the new thread here.)

Not that I am aware of. Union Street and then Whalley Road, where he died. Tallish, thin man with white, brylcremed hair. used to work for R.J.O. Wilkinson on Oswald Street.

Accrington should be proud of all its residents apart from the ones who vandalise and damage property. The rest of you continue to live and love there despite all your little grouches and grumbles. Isn't it always the case that we are more critical of people and places we love because we want to be proud of them and want others to see them in a good light?
