Re: That's HOT

Now I'm really in a fowl mood ... another load of snow and there's the horrible racket of snowmobiles down in the back. I HATE those things!!! ( I know, I'm shouting again )

Take a little trip ... may I suggest:

Canada Polar Bear Tundra Buggy Trips | Polar Bear Wildlife Tours Canada Cregor Adventures

And don't pet the bears. It's a pleasant 30 in Churchill right now ... on the minus side of course.

Plenty of road kill to chose from at the moment, ( kangaroo, wallaby, wombats, rabbits, snakes, echidna's) you can smell them miles away, our dog brings them home and plonks them on the back door step, really proud of himself, put a tray of water in the paddock for the snakes, to keep them away from the dogs water bowl, nearly picked one up the other day, thought it was a blue tongue, Had to change my underpants.

Re: That's HOT

One good thing about the hot weather - no problem getting the washing dry. The first lot is dry before you put the second lot out.

Mr Smug here 7/10, doesn't really mean much except I tend to pay more attention to daftness rather than serious stuff!

I have a washer full of towels right now...what I wouldn't give to have them dried out in the fresh air and sunshine...instead they will go on the 'winter hedge'(the clothes maiden) and they might be dry by Tuesday.
